Construction company serving Cary, NC since 2024

Erik's love for construction started early, working side by side with his dad on home improvement projects. Those hands-on experiences shaped the way he thinks about building — with care, attention to detail, and a genuine respect for the craft. That foundation never left him.

Over the years, Erik built on those early lessons in a meaningful way. He earned a degree in architecture, became a licensed home inspector, and obtained both his residential and commercial general contractor licenses (License No. 109730). His background as a home inspector gives him a distinct perspective — he understands how homes are built from the inside out, how systems interact, and what it takes to create spaces that hold up over time.

In 2024, Erik turned that lifelong passion into Firm Foundations Homebuilders, LLC. The company was built on a simple belief: every project deserves honest communication, quality craftsmanship, and personal care. Faith guides the way we work, and we treat every home and every client with the same integrity we would want for ourselves.

We serve homeowners and businesses across the Raleigh-Triangle area, including Cary, Apex, Garner, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Morrisville, Clayton, Durham, Knightdale, Wendell, Chapel Hill, and neighborhoods throughout Raleigh such as North Hills, Midtown, Five Points, Brier Creek, and Inside the Beltline. Whether your project is a quick repair or a full custom build, we bring the same level of care to every job.

Our services cover a wide range of construction and remodeling needs — from new home construction and custom builds to kitchen and bathroom remodels, home additions, deck and patio construction, foundation and concrete work, flooring, painting, roofing, masonry, and more. We also take on commercial projects. No matter the scope, we take the time to understand your vision before a single nail is driven.

What sets us apart is not just the range of work we do — it is how we do it. We never cut corners. We communicate clearly at every stage. And we stay on the job until the work is done right. For Erik, every project is a chance to build something that lasts, on a foundation of trust.
